The Project
We are designing a system to be used by institutions that deal with handicapped persons on a regular basis. The system will track the occupants of a building by combining an RFID system with a central database and other technologies, and will allow administrative personnel to track easily the locations and movements of badge-holders within the building, in real-time, along with providing limited security for access points and rooms.
The system will also provide capabilities to account for general usage of the facilities, as well as providing early-warning systems for alerting staff to potentially dangerous or otherwise undesirable situations.
